Experiential Learning

Experiential Learning is an activity-based learning methodology, another TRIDUUM specialty. Learners are required to be highly involved. We create the environment and provide the backdrop/landscape for the construction of a scaffold, upon which learners’ broad spectrum of cognitive process is engaged; in the following sequence:- Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyse, Evaluate, Create.

Experiential Learning require learners to take quality time to practice new skills while exploring new knowledge.

It is particularly effective for highly-motivated learners, with a tendency to be more self-directed; who learn more efficiently through experimental techniques.

Due to the kinesthetic nature of Experiential Learning, new information does not decay or get displaced easily. Newly acquired knowledge therefore, while being experienced, is stored in one’s long-term memory.

LEARNING JOURNEYS

LEARNING JOURNEYS is an instructional method that supports Experiential Learning very effectively.

Learning activities during JOURNEYS include exploration of centers of excellence, meshed with academic workshops. Instructional curriculum is designed to meet specific requirements and facilitate experiential learning.

Deliverables, where applicable and agreed upon, can take the form of an online Learning Journal, a stand-up presentation on ‘key takeaways’, or a one-on-one interview with the Facilitator/Assessor.

LEARNING JOURNEYS are customized and leverage on constructivist learning through Field Observations, supported by facilitated presentations and Q & A.  Learners synthesize workshop acquired academic knowledge with workplace visits/observations, through first-hand discovery of what makes these companies so successful.

LEARNING JOURNEYS can be inbound OR outbound.

INBOUND LEARNING JOURNEYS

TRIDUUM is committed to pioneering and driving Inbound Learning Journeys into Singapore, an economic powerhouse in Asia; with its numerous established Centers of Excellence.

Targeted at overseas delegates who wish to experience and/or investigate Singapore’s economic success models, Inbound Learning Journeys program takes overseas learners on field visits to carefully selected 100% Singapore enterprises, where they will focus on their best practices, productivity models, process management and key operations of successful Singapore enterprises.

Field visits are meshed with contextualized curriculum to ensure experiential development. TRIDUUM scopes local partner companies, comprehending the strategies, with learners, which power these thriving businesses in Singapore.

OUTBOUND LEARNING JOURNEYS

Outbound Learning Journeys, like its Inbound parallel, are an exploration of carefully selected successful companies abroad, usually within a particular industry, that have established themselves as centers of excellence, whose standards are benchmark worthy.

The program will feature field visits to partner companies in a pre-determined country, who have displayed outstanding achievements in their industries, providing for a holistic learning experience for learners. This is coupled with contextualized curriculum to ensure experiential development.

Outbound Learning Journeys are customized and leverage on constructivist learning through Field Observations, supported by facilitated presentations and Q & A. Learners synthesize workshop acquired academic knowledge with workplace visits/observations, through first-hand discovery of what makes these companies so successful.
